Routine Cleaning & Service

At Rainford Hearing Aid Service, we recommend users clean their aids lightly daily with more detailed self cleaning monthly. Some hearing aids have filters and/or wax traps that can be cleaned and changed by the user if they desire. 

Professional cleaning and servicing of aids is recommended at least every 6 months. Professional cleaning might be required more frequently for those who produce more wax, perspire more than normal or work in a dusty environment. 

Professional cleaning will help extend the life of your hearing aids along with keeping them working at 100%!
